Antiques fascinate me. Who did they belong to? How did they use them? How much did they buy it for? Has it always been in my family? Trust me, I’ve got loads of questions.

The other weekend my sister and I rummaged around my grandparents shed. Angie got some information from grandpa about some of the treasures we found. They may not be treasures to you, but they’re certainly treasures to us. For instance, there was a simple piece of wood hammered together forming a ‘t’ shape. Grandma told us that our Great Grandfather would sit on this stool every morning to milk the cow. Had we not known that, I’m certain at some point it would have become just another log on the fire.

Then there were the tools. Who knew that these specific tools were tailor made for a Model T. You couldn’t work on the car without them. And our family still has them?! But where’s the car?!!! I guess the tools lasted but the car didn’t. Ahh well, so is life.
