Such a great morning with this pair! These were just last minute shots that we took… the real engagement shoot is in the process. It’s fantastic!
Well done j&l. You two are brilliant.

Grandpa Turner | Reedley, CAJune 27th, 2011I love to hear this guy laugh. His smile, sincerity, and sense of humor warms my heart. Seriously, Grandpa Turner is such a pickle sometimes. He is one of the hardest working men I know (along with my other grandpa and my father, his son). Grandpa Turner can fix anything and he makes the best homemade ice cream (as well as other desserts). He truly is a man of many talents.
Because of Grandpa and his influence on our whole family everyone will turn their head to the sky when we hear a faint hum of an airplane. All the men in the family know what type of plane is passing overhead (I pretend I do when truthfully, I have no idea). Because of Grandpa everyone owns a bike. In fact one of my cousins is a crazy competitor in mountain bike racing, one of my uncles rides at least 30 miles a day on his street bike, and Grandpa still rides his bike for a few miles everyday but now in the comfort of his own home watching the news.
Grandpa has the sweetest bass voice I know. We can always pick his voice out of the choir. It’s the lowest, strongest voice around.
Grantpa Turner is phenomenal. I absolutely love him and his goofy sense of humor. He knows truth and lives by the Word of God. I am so thankful for you Grandpa. I think you’re amazing and I’m so glad that I get to live life with you.

Jordan & Kellye | Engagement Sneak Peek | Reedley, CAJune 14th, 2011Joy radiates from these two. I mean the light that beams from them is unbelievable. (I’d say it’s about 500 at 2.8… sorry, inside joke.) Percy and I photographed this pair yesterday evening and we had the greatest time together. Percy and I photographed this pair yesterday evening and we had the greatest time together. I love having Percy help me out because you never know what’s going to come out of his mouth and he puts people at ease. What can I say, he’s fun to have around.
Anyhow, I am ecstatic that I get to photograph Jordan & Kellye’s wedding in the middle of the hot summer! It’s going to be pretty amazing… I assume this because they are pretty amazing.

Jake & Lauren’s Engagement | Sneak PeekFebruary 21st, 2011November can’t come fast enough! I am so excited about this wedding. Jake and Lauren are easy going and fun to be around. About 90% of the shoot was laughter filled… just the way I like it. |
Ryan & Tricia’s Ranch Wedding | Part 1 | Madera, CAOctober 8th, 2010Once upon a time the socialite and the milkman fell in love. Soon after they tied the knot. Alright, let me be a little more wordy. Ryan is the milkman (seriously, he works on a dairy with… get this… REAL cows!) and Tricia is the socialite (truly, this girl is not shy in the very least!). They might have one of the coolest stories around. From one seeing the other on a social networking site, to finally meeting face to face (a few times without one really remembering any of the meetings) and finally, with God’s perfect timing, they met again at a Bible study and the rest is history. Too vague? Oh well, I’ll have to get permission from the bride and groom to be able to go in-depth… Wait, even better I’ll see if they’ll want to be guest bloggers and tell their own story! How great would that be?
There is so much goodness in this wedding that I’ve decided to break it down into a few small posts… believe me, the wait is worth it! For this first draft we have a few small details of their wedding day along with the bride and groom getting ready. Mind you, in this series they had not laid eyes on one another. That happened at the very emotional, fantastically perfect ceremony (stay tuned, the ceremony blog post shall come soon!).
Anyhow, here’s the beginning of the Iest wedding held in the far off country area of Madera, CA.

It’s that time of year my friends! Keep a close eye because I will soon be posting my Christmas portrait special and you can start booking your shoots with me! I have designed some Christmas cards that you can order to send out to your loved ones. Each one was created with love by yours truly. I put some pictures in the designs so you can see what they’d be like. Obviously, your Christmas portraits would replace these.
I absolute love the Holiday season and I’m so glad it’s approaching us! Start thinking about your pictures and send me an e-mail to book your appointment!
