On a breezy day in June Kyle & Rachel tied the knot in Galt, CA. Almost everything was handmade. Rachel sewed Kyle’s vest, added buttons to the bouquets, sewed the intials, her cousin made the cake, friends and family jumped in to help create the beautiful centerpieces, Kyle built the arbor, he cut cherry wood pieces that went on the tables, they worked long and hard to create the wedding of their dreams. And I got to go and capture their amazing day for them! Congratulations Kyle & Rachel. You guys are amazing, wonderful, fun-loving, caring, and absolutely perfect for one another. Enjoy.

Some things I loved about this wedding… first and foremost the people. Seriously, both families were absolutely incredible and super easy to work with. And the wedding party! Oh my! I’ve never had a wedding party like that who so easily chatted and laughed with each other. They were so amazing.

I loved the vision of the day. The colors were black, brown, and this beautiful green. The ladies wore these wonderful black dresses that were so classy and they’ll easily be able to wear them again! There were bowls of green apples as the centerpieces which gave a fresh feeling to the whole reception. The details were there and perfect.

Lastly, I loved the cookies. Yes, the cookies. There was not a cake but the grooms sister is in culinary school and she made some absolutely delicious cookies. There were a few kinds there but my favorite ones were the cutout cookies in the shape of the couples initials… JNH (Jason | Nenadov | Heidi). Then she delicately piped an outline around every cookie. Wow, the time and detail that went into these delicious things was outstanding!

Jason & Heidi got hitched today!  Let me share with you how perfect they are with this one simple fact… this morning they both woke up early, met up, and while Heidi ran, Jason rode his bike alongside her and would yell out to passersby that they were getting married!  So perfect, so joyous, so easy going!

I just wanted to share a small handful of images from the Smile Booth that we had set up.  What a great time… can’t you tell? :)
