A little R&R | San Diego, CA

May 12th, 2011

I have to head to San Diego for a delivery.  Who knew I would ever be driving so far just to drop something off?  Not me.  But, since I am going to SD I think I’ll take my boyfriend, go to a Cocktail Party hosted by Get Married Magazine, ride some rides at Disneyland, go [...]

I have to head to San Diego for a delivery.  Who knew I would ever be driving so far just to drop something off?  Not me.  But, since I am going to SD I think I’ll take my boyfriend, go to a Cocktail Party hosted by Get Married Magazine, ride some rides at Disneyland, go to the beach, visit some old friends, and do a little site seeing.

First things first though, I have to pack.  I have 30 minutes until I need to leave!

Curtis & Renee, I’m on my way with your package!

Martzen Family Portraits | Reedley, CA

November 22nd, 2009

The Martzen family… they’re so great.  Hard working, loyal, and always laughing.  I love getting to shoot them.  Today we walked around their homestead and shot some pictures with the whole fam.  Enjoy…

The Moore Family Portraits | Reedley, CA

November 21st, 2009

I love this little family.  They are always laughing and loud.  During the shoot, Buddy, the little guy, kept quoting The Princess Bride… “My name is Indigo Montoya.  You killed my father.  Prepare to tickle!!!”

Lake Children | Reedley, CA

November 20th, 2009

I love these children… in fact, I don’t have any real nieces and nephews.  But to fill that void my dear friends lend me their little Loves.  I absolutely melt when I’m called Auntie Jen.  Children, they’re so wonderful.

The Carey family portraits | Hume Lake, CA

Such a lovely family.  They met at Hume and would never have thought that one day, what was it, 9 or 10 years down the line, that they would end up falling in love!  Now here they are with two little ones and loving everyday that the Lord blesses them with.  There really is so [...]

Such a lovely family.  They met at Hume and would never have thought that one day, what was it, 9 or 10 years down the line, that they would end up falling in love!  Now here they are with two little ones and loving everyday that the Lord blesses them with.  There really is so much joy in this family.  I was so pleased to be able to take their family pictures and capture some candids of their babes.

The Geer family portraits | Hume Lake, CA

Years ago Derek and Amy met at Hume Lake Christian Camps.  Over the years they’ve both worked at Hume, left Hume, and returned to Hume.  If memory serves me correctly, they got married in the Fall of 2003.  Their son came along just two years ago and he’s been a ball of energy since day [...]

Years ago Derek and Amy met at Hume Lake Christian Camps.  Over the years they’ve both worked at Hume, left Hume, and returned to Hume.  If memory serves me correctly, they got married in the Fall of 2003.  Their son came along just two years ago and he’s been a ball of energy since day one.  They are absolutely wonderful and I was so happy to be able to take their pictures for them.

A nice woman came over to help us get some pictures with Hudson looking at the camera and smiling.  I didn’t see this, but she put her Chihuahua over my head and made it dance.  Glad I didn’t look up!  But, we got some great pictures and the dancing dog worked!  Hudson sat still and all three of them laughed and enjoyed the show for a minute.

Derek and Amy are pretty wonderful… so is Hudson.  Enjoy…
