I couldn’t have asked for a better way to end my wedding season then by shooting Ryan & Heather’s amazingly detailed wedding this last weekend!  It’s bittersweet for me, the last wedding until 2012 yet one of the best weddings full of eye candy, laughter, and just plain ol’ fun!  Ryan & Heather, I’m thankful [...]

Wedding Album | 8×8 white linen with burlap belt

May 20th, 2011

One of my brides is swinging by today to pick up her parent albums.  I had to take pictures of these things before they headed out the door!  They are so beautiful and I absolutely love the customized burlap belt with yellow button!

Ryan & Tricia’s Ranch Wedding | Part 5 | Madera, CA

Alright, here’s the final entry… are you sad? I kind of am too.  But we’ll finish it off with a bang!  Or how about some sparklers?! First, since Ryan is a milkman it only made sense for the happy couple to serve milk and cupcakes for dessert.  The cupcakes were absolutely delicious!  I seriously still [...]

I seriously still think about them and how cute/yummy they were.  No kidding, the cupcake table got cleared off fairly quickly!

The rest of the night was filled with dancing… deep in the Madera countryside it can get pitch black!  Lights were strung throughout the large tree which created this wonderful ambiance where the guests ended up mingling (that is, if they weren’t getting down on the dance floor).  It was really beautiful.  Thoughtfully, a huge light was placed out on the road for everyone to be able to see where their cars were but with that light the cornfields glowed and made the surroundings that much more beautiful.

I have no doubt that everyone had so much fun at this wedding!  The DJ, the dancing, the food, the cupcakes, the sparkler exit, and the couple were absolutely amazing.  I’m so thankful to have been able to be apart of this wedding.

Ryan & Tricia, I wish you the best and I look forward to seeing how the Lord uses you two.  Blessings and congratulations!

Here we go for the third entry of the Iest series… I wanted to throw as many wedding party photos as I could at you. I LOVE the outfits Ryan & Tricia selected for their bridal party. If I were one of the girls, hands down I’d wear that dress again (okay, that is if [...]

Here we go for the third entry of the Iest series… I wanted to throw as many wedding party photos as I could at you. I LOVE the outfits Ryan & Tricia selected for their bridal party. If I were one of the girls, hands down I’d wear that dress again (okay, that is if I looked as good as these girls did in those dresses I would!). And the guys all casual with sleeves rolled up yet awesome wearing those wonderful hats, they might win for coolest groomsmen attire I’ve seen (and I’ve seen some pretty amazing attire lately!). I love the lace of Tricia’s dress. The pinstripe suit that Ryan wore was phenomenal. Everything that you get to see in this entry I loved. That’s probably why there are so many pictures in this series. :)

Enjoy my friends…

Ryan & Tricia’s Ranch Wedding | Part 1 | Madera, CA

Once upon a time the socialite and the milkman fell in love.  Soon after they tied the knot.  Here is a glimpse into their very special day… Alright, let me be a little more wordy.  Ryan is the milkman (seriously, he works on a dairy with… get this… REAL cows!) and Tricia is the socialite [...]

Once upon a time the socialite and the milkman fell in love.  Soon after they tied the knot.  Here is a glimpse into their very special day…

Alright, let me be a little more wordy.  Ryan is the milkman (seriously, he works on a dairy with… get this… REAL cows!) and Tricia is the socialite (truly, this girl is not shy in the very least!).  They might have one of the coolest stories around.  From one seeing the other on a social networking site, to finally meeting face to face (a few times without one really remembering any of the meetings) and finally, with God’s perfect timing, they met again at a Bible study and the rest is history.  Too vague?  Oh well, I’ll have to get permission from the bride and groom to be able to go in-depth… Wait, even better I’ll see if they’ll want to be guest bloggers and tell their own story!  How great would that be? :)

There is so much goodness in this wedding that I’ve decided to break it down into a few small posts… believe me, the wait is worth it!  For this first draft we have a few small details of their wedding day along with the bride and groom getting ready.  Mind you, in this series they had not laid eyes on one another.  That happened at the very emotional, fantastically perfect ceremony (stay tuned, the ceremony blog post shall come soon!).

Anyhow, here’s the beginning of the Iest wedding held in the far off country area of Madera, CA.
