Brian and Jennifer met via good ol’ myspace. Their story of how they met and their romance was hilarious! (They shared it with their wedding guests during the toasts at the end of the evening.) Instead of sharing it, I’ll try and get Jennifer to share it with us so that I don’t tell any parts that I shouldn’t.
He’s Irish, she’s from California, their wedding was a celebration of who they are and their lives together. Let me start by telling you this… Jennifer glows. She glows when his name is mentioned. She glowed when she saw herself in the mirror with her wedding dress on. She glowed when she walked down the aisle with her eyes locked with his. And it was then that I saw him glow. When she was in his presence he was more then himself, he was complete. Their love is tangible and wonderful.

I loved Jennifer’s jewelry. It was stunning and the red cases were classic, vintagey perfection.

I l.o.v.e. LOVE Jen’s wedding ring. It’s vintage circa 1915 and just breathtaking.

Check out her hair. She got it done at Le Salon Cruz. The style is so intricate, sleek, and absolutely gorgeous!

Something I loved is this Irish tradition. After the ceremony the bride and groom stood in the back of the church and greeted each and every guest as they exited. It was pretty awesome. They literally exchanged words with everyone! Pretty smart tradition if I should say so myself.

This bridal party is awesome. The grooms sisters and his best man flew out from Ireland and they were so enjoyable! In the group image below I told the bride and groom to kiss. Problem was I didn’t specify who so one of the sisters (on the left) asked if everyone should be kissing. I said sure, everyone kiss everyone and they all started laughing. (Boy I’m a bad storyteller sometimes. I promise, it really was funny when it happened.)

I love how well Brian and Jennifer fit together. They truly are lovely.

Megan and Emily from Enjoy Events Co. helped Jennifer with the day of stuff. They were (and are) absolutely awesome. All the details were dealt with, everything was gorgeous, and the whole day ran so smoothly. I tell you, having someone you trust who has good taste and is on your side is such a blessing on your wedding day.

Those mints that went on the tables after the guests enjoyed dinner, dessert, and toasts were absolutely delicious! (Yes, I tried a few.)

Another brilliant thing about Irish weddings is the toasts. Here is what Jen told me concerning the toasts, “Also to irish tradition, all the speaches are being done at the reception. I know that at american weddings, some of the speaches are done at the rehearsal dinner, but not so at the irish shindig! All the speaches are done after dinner, and people at the tables can bet on how long the speaches will go. I had never seen it before, but it is sooooo much fun…I even won once! $60 euros! Yeah baby!”

Brian and Jen, congratulations! I loved being a part of such a special day and getting to spend it in San Fran with you two and the rest of your brilliant wedding party.
