Raineri Family | Hanford, CA

I had such a great time photographing this family. It’s probably because I’ve known some of them since I was two (probably before that but at two is when we took our first camping trip together). Anyhow, I’m thankful to know each and every individual of this family and I thoroughly enjoy time spent with them! Especially when we play games.

The Klassen’s and my family have been long time friends.  In fact, some of my most cherished childhood memories include this hilarious family.  So, because of our history and sense of humor it only made sense to make Richard look giant like he was knocking down some pillars.  I look at it and laugh.  Mostly because Rich’s body is a little distorted and it looks like he has the smallest of legs.  But maybe that’s why I like it so much.
