Tomorrow I get to start my new project of having fun with bridal pictures.  I twitted about how all I’m doing now-a-days is that I look at wedding blogs and I’m itching to start taking more pictures.  So I asked if any of my friends wanted to get their wedding dresses out for a photo shoot and I was shocked at the quick response!

So fun.

Heading up to Clovis, I’m going to shoot a really good friend of mine in her gown.  Sadly, she doesn’t look back at her wedding pictures with gushing joy and enthusiasm.  Although the pictures are beautiful, they’re just not her style.  Too traditional.  I hope to capture her being herself in her dress!  I want her to have images that she can cherish and look at with love and fondness.  Selfishly, I also want to push myself and not only take beautiful pictures but I want to start shooting a little more raw, more dirty… but not dirty dirty, but rugged dirty… grungy perhaps explains it better.  Make sense?   Maybe only to myself.

Anyhow, shoot one of Once a Bride begins tomorrow.
