I come from a family of farmers, of people who like to be outside working in the sun. I had a mole removed on my stomach when I was sixteen because it looked suspicious… thankfully, it wasn’t anything serious, yet. I think of my friends and my family with fair skin, cute moles and freckles, and there are times when I fear what those cute little bumps can do to them. Be aware, be cautious, and spread the word. Skin cancer is dangerous. Watch this video… but grab a tissue first, just in case.

   amen sister! i was irresponsible about this for way too long. i’m definitely going to try to instill in my little ones the importance of sun safety.
