Yesterday almost ALL of the Blied & Milton family came together for a family pics.  This is a huge accomplishment!  The last time they were all together was two years ago (maybe three, don’t quote me on that) for one of the siblings’ weddings.  They all drove back home to Reedley with their families to celebrate their parents, Jim & Pam, birthdays.  It was supposed to be a surprise but due to the fact that Pam was planning to go out of town the kids that live nearby showed up a little over a week ago and surprised them by announcing the plans.

It was absolutely wonderful shooting this family.  They all are truly amazing and are a blessing in my life.  After the shoot they invited my sister and I to join them for dinner.  It was such a fun time chatting and laughing.  The best moment of all was when the food came out and all of a sudden you no longer had to yell to communicate.  It was very obvious the kids got their food. :)

Anyhow, here are some favorite images of mine from yesterday.  Blieds & Miltons, you guys are amazing.  Thank you for having me (and my sister) be apart of your lives.  You certainly have blessed us and I hope that in turn we can bless you.

Enjoy

Easter weekend I had the opportunity to head down south for a fashion shoot. I wasn’t really sure what to expect because I had never actually met the designer or seen her work until the moment I arrived at her families home on Friday afternoon. I was terribly nervous during my three hour drive south. All these silly scenarios rushed through my head (wouldn’t you have the same issue?). Looking back now, there was no reason to be nervous. Julie, her model Nicole, the dresses, and Julie’s family were absolutely wonderful! We all got along very well and it was easy to come in, help out with this or that, make some coffee on the espresso machine, shoot some fun fashion on location, and enjoy great conversation and good laughter throughout the day.

Anyways, I loved every moment and am thrilled with how the images turned out. I’ve been editing them and wanted to share a few. There is one more dress in this collection (which is actually my absolute favorite collection) but I haven’t gotten to edit the last image just yet. So, here is your little taste of the designs of Julie Martin-Beijer.

Enjoy.

Finally!  The last of the Blied/Milton Family pictures are done.  Shawn was the last of the seven that I had on my list to capture and thankfully we squeezed him in to a busy schedule.  We took his pictures at The Cornerstone Church in Reedley today.

On a completely different note, the reason for Shawn Shawn (as we called him in High School) being in town was because his step Grandmother passed away earlier this week.  I know it’s hitting the family fairly hard losing their loved one.  From what I can tell, she was a classy fireball who left her mark on each life she came across.  Praise God she loved Him, relied on Him, and had a personal relationship with Him.  It’s always a blessing to have someone like that in your life.

Anyhow… here’s Shawn Shawn Blied…
