The headline says it all… I love them.  I love Cadbury Mini Eggs.  So far this year I’ve bought two bags.  And both of those bags didn’t even last 24 hours.  That’s probably why I’ve only purchased two.

Every time I work at Save Mart I walk by the Cadbury Mini Eggs, look at the price (hoping against all hope that they’re somehow on sale BEFORE Easter), and think if Dave Ramsey would say it’s okay for me to purchase a bag or if the Couch to 5K plan (which I’ve sadly neglected for far too long) would agree with my eating yet another bag.  These little hard shelled chocolate eggs are just simply delicious.  Thankfully, they’re only around during the Spring time every year.  Hey, maybe if they were around all year long I wouldn’t crave them so much!  I might just have to write to Cadbury and suggest this. :)

For whatever reason I’ve always been competitive. I guess I was born with it because I have no idea how else it came about… well, my mom is competitive as well, and my dad has a bit of a competitive drive in him. Unlike them though, I can be a sore loser. I get my heart set on winning and every time I don’t win I am bummed!

I was convinced, last year, that I would win the HGTV Dream Home Giveaway. Seriously… I was 100% convinced. While visiting my boyfriend in Louisiana we watched the big reveal of the winner and I had my phone right next to me knowing that they would call. When they showed the prize patrol lady standing outside in Florida I was CRUSHED! Literally, I began to cry.

That’s just my competitive spirit.

So here’s the point: I love contests, I love competing, I love good clean fun. Because of these factors Jennifer Eileen Photography is going to start having some more contests.

The first contest starts now and ends on Monday the 22nd
The prize is a $25 gift card to Starbucks
How you enter is simply by leaving a comment anywhere on my blog

I don’t care if you’re my sister, a stranger, my best friend, or an old acquaintance, I just want you to enter, believe your name will be drawn, and have some fun! I know, I know, leaving comments is the most fun thing a person can do. I get it, I do it all the time, and I’m thrilled with writing silly things on peoples blogs. Alright, stop reading and start commenting. :) Good luck!

You all know I’m a photographer right? I work from my Residential Gallery day in and day out. After a few months of working by myself I’ve realized how badly I need to mingle with people. See, my sister is a therapist so she talks to people all day long. I, on the other hand, don’t talk to anybody all day long and when Angie comes home, I just want to chit chat and hangout whereas she just wants to come home, relax, and not talk. Can you see how that’s not working out so nicely for either of us?

Finally I decided to go ahead and pick up a part time job. Save Mart Supermarkets hired me at the end of January and I’ve been bagging groceries for approximately 20 hours a week. Can I tell you how great it is?! Seriously, no stress… I go in, do my job, chat with customers, walk around and get some exercise, then come home and do my real work. It’s been pretty amazing. Plus, I get a little paycheck at the end of each week. No complaints here!

Well yesterday while I was working one of the grocery clerks looks at me and she asks, “Are you at least 21?” Shocked and thinking she was joking I responded with a laugh, “I’m 31.” She couldn’t believe it… really, I couldn’t believe it either. Seriously? Do I still look that young (don’t answer that).

Goodness, I was sad that I didn’t get carded at WPPI in Vegas for the Pictage party. Ha! Thank you Martha! You made my day.
