Grunau Family Pictures | Reedley, CAJune 15th, 2010What a great family! The Grunau’s and I met on the hottest day of the year (thus far) at the hottest time of day (4pm). Even though it was hot, it wasn’t terrible. In fact, it was opposite of that. It was so much fun! The family is from Reedley but now the girls and [...] |
What a great family! The Grunau’s and I met on the hottest day of the year (thus far) at the hottest time of day (4pm). Even though it was hot, it wasn’t terrible. In fact, it was opposite of that. It was so much fun! The family is from Reedley but now the girls and their husbands live in near opposite ends of the West Coast so when everyone got together for this one weekend it was picture time! We spent an hour roaming around downtown Reedley taking pictures, capturing the family, and even learning about the film Road House. It was a great time! Enjoy…

Unique = The Martin Family
This shoot was so great. Sure there was mild complaining from the kids about posing preppy but when everyone came out in their punk outfits, it was smooth sailing! Not once did I have to tell them what to do, I just captured them being a family, hanging out, truly being themselves. Sure, mom and dad don’t normally dress like this but they embraced it and rocked the look! I loved every moment.
Enjoy!

Yesterday almost ALL of the Blied & Milton family came together for a family pics. This is a huge accomplishment! The last time they were all together was two years ago (maybe three, don’t quote me on that) for one of the siblings’ weddings. They all drove back home to Reedley with their families to celebrate their parents, Jim & Pam, birthdays. It was supposed to be a surprise but due to the fact that Pam was planning to go out of town the kids that live nearby showed up a little over a week ago and surprised them by announcing the plans.
It was absolutely wonderful shooting this family. They all are truly amazing and are a blessing in my life. After the shoot they invited my sister and I to join them for dinner. It was such a fun time chatting and laughing. The best moment of all was when the food came out and all of a sudden you no longer had to yell to communicate. It was very obvious the kids got their food.
Anyhow, here are some favorite images of mine from yesterday. Blieds & Miltons, you guys are amazing. Thank you for having me (and my sister) be apart of your lives. You certainly have blessed us and I hope that in turn we can bless you.
Enjoy

Friesen Family Portraits | Pismo Beach, CAJanuary 21st, 2010During Martin Luther King weekend I headed to Pismo with this family. I certainly came home with a heap of new, funny memories. Even though it rained for most of the weekend, it was relaxing and enjoyable. I’m very glad I went and I look forward to our next game night! |

In Pismo Beach, CA this past weekend I got to shoot my long time friends, Jeff & Kelley Klassen and their two sons. Growing up Jeff and my families would go camping for a week during the summer every year. I have such amazing memories from those trips and it was so fun to meet their two boys. It’s pretty strange to see their oldest boy because he reminds me so much of Jeff. And their youngest is almost an exact replica of his Grandfather. I’m so thankful I got to see them and witness the extreme love they have for one another.

The Pullen Family Portraits | Fresno, CANovember 27th, 2009This family, I absolutely love them. They’re so funny and seriously unique. I could spend hours on end and most likely never stop laughing. When I got there Grant came out in this fairly horrible Hawaiian shirt hoping that I would think he was dressed and ready for pictures. I greeted him, “Mele Kalikimaka” and [...] |

Thankfully, he changed.

The Moore Family Portraits | Reedley, CANovember 21st, 2009I love this little family. They are always laughing and loud. During the shoot, Buddy, the little guy, kept quoting The Princess Bride… “My name is Indigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to tickle!!!” |
Lake Children | Reedley, CANovember 20th, 2009I love these children… in fact, I don’t have any real nieces and nephews. But to fill that void my dear friends lend me their little Loves. I absolutely melt when I’m called Auntie Jen. Children, they’re so wonderful. |
