Last Friday afternoon I met up with James & Nicole in downtown Reedley to start shooting their engagement pictures. I am so excited about their wedding this upcoming September at Hobbs Grove! I know that Nicole is going to pull over an amazing wedding because she is a fan of some of my favorite wedding blogs (ie Grey Likes Weddings). So, with her great sense of style and her knowledge of off the chain weddings it’s going to be fairly amazing! And I’m certain that this sweet little ampersand sign will make an appearance at their wedding. Anyhow, we shot in downtown Reedley then moved on over some orchards where the blossoms were completely in bloom! After that we headed over to a basketball gym to finish up their shoot. Apparently James loves basketball and it’s going to be a big part of their life together.
James & Nicole, you guys are fantastic and I couldn’t be happier about being your photographer!

Yesterday was a perfect day for taking engagement pictures of James & Nicole! Yesterday I spent some time with Jake & Raquel out in the Fresno countryside (which was much closer to Kingsburg then Fresno so why is it still considered Fresno? No clue!). Jake is a jack of all trades; he’s a farmer, a sprint car racer, and a graphic designer. Because of this, it only made sense to shoot their engagement pictures in the almond orchards surrounded by the gorgeous white blooms. Raquel looked perfect in her sophisticated, stylish outfit and she just couldn’t stop smiling! Here’s only one image from the shoot, a little sneak peek… I’ll be working on the rest of the images today and plan to have another blog post up later this week (if not later today!).

Recently I headed up to Merced, CA to photograph this fun little engagement session. Josh & Danielle wanted to start out at their home and she made some delicious cupcakes as props for the shoot (of course we got to taste one after and, my word, it was good!). Danielle has been baking all sorts of different flavored cupcakes to sample the flavors for her wedding day. Her soon to be brother-in-law is going to be making them! Totally looking forward to that delicious element of their wedding day.
Anyhow, we began at their home and ended in downtown Merced. I am so happy with all of the urban shots. They are just so lovely.

This past weekend my sister and I headed off to Monterey, CA where we met up with Trevor & Mallory down at Cannery Row. First off, there was a car show on Saturday and there were massive amounts of people. The cars were pretty awesome.
Right when Mallory & Trevor got there they informed us they had stopped and enjoyed a beer and fries (chili cheese fries??? I forget what kind of goodness they had before hand.). They were so relaxed and fun to shoot! Mallory worked the camera and together they were brilliant to photograph. Angie and I loved hanging out with them and touring Monterey.
As Trevor & Mallory told us, Monterey is where they got engaged and the feel and mood reflects them. It was an awesome day and I’m thrilled with how the pictures turned out! Congratulations guys, I can’t wait for your wedding in November!

Last August my sister and I met up with Kim & Odessa to shoot their engagement pictures in San Francisco. I’ve been working on their engagement album/sign in book and came across these two pictures again. I absolutely love them. My second shooter (and sister), Angie captured these and I think they’re brilliant. They have a very old feeling to them. Just wanted to share. And I totally can’t wait for their wedding in August! I absolutely loved hanging out with them and am eager to see them again (they now live on the east coast so visiting is kinda tricky). Ahh well, I’m just counting down the days.
