Jon & Lauren. J&L. You two. You are pretty great. <3
Lauren is a mastermind of all things creative. Jon is more down to earth, black and white type of a fella. Together, a perfect balance. For the wedding Lauren used Mary Poppins for inspiration and created every little thing that you’ll find in this wedding. The groomsmen wore kite boutineers, the ladies carried handmade “floral” arrangements (Lauren made each flower out of material, buttons, pearls, broaches, and who knows what!), the reception hall was decked out with a Mennonite Open Bar (they served Zwieback and jam… for those of you who don’t know, zwieback are these delicious, soft rolls that were homemade by the brides mom), a table of historical facts about the couple, a gorgeous cake from Baby Cakes in Kingsburg, a table filled with Moritz chocolates (so fitting since their surname is Moritz), and so much more! It was incredible. Every place you turned there was something new to feast your eyes on. But when Lauren walked in a room, nobody looked anywhere but at her. Her bubbly personality and stunning looks caught everyones attention. Jon, well done landing Lauren! :)
I know there are detail after detail that I have forgotten to mention. It was absolutely fantastic and a ton of fun to capture! J&L, I’m seriously thankful you’re in Percy and my lives. Your talent and taste always impresses me, Lauren. And I’m glad our husbands can be friends. Yeah for College Football!
