My all time favorite thing about photographing weddings is when I click so well with a client that a friendship is created. That is exactly what happened with Brett & Brandon. Brett is uber cute, uber talented, and uber fun. Her creativity knows no bounds. Paired with her now sister-in-law, this duo can pull off the most fantastic moments.
Brett built her wedding off of the song January Wedding by Avett Brothers. Therefore b&b were wed in the mountains, in January, on the first major snow of the season. It was utterly beautiful.
Here’s a fact about Brandon… he’s been in the most weddings shot by me, Jennifer Eileen. He knows what’s up. 
Plus, he’s so easy going and has such a great laugh! We were trying to figure out if he would be in any more weddings shot by me… so, that being said, if you need an extra groomsmen I can highly recommend Brandon!
Anyhow, check out their wedding which is chalk full of diy details! I loved their chalkboard escort table, the homemade mason jar snow globes, the canned peaches which were the favors, the hand drawn table numbers, the flowers that Brett did were just so stunning, and the dessert table was not only beautiful but delicious! Also, I have to mention, the clips in Brett’s hair, her moms hair, and her sisters hair were all made by Inglenook from Brett’s moms wedding dress. Such a lovely touch.
Congratulations my friends! I’m so thankful for you two.

Heather and Ryan are two of my favs. They were so wonderful to work with and so much fun to photograph! And that doesn’t even mention their style. Their wedding was fabulous. SO many details, so perfect. It was awesome to photograph and every where I turned there was a new vignette to capture. The venue, 3 Oaks Vineyards in Clovis, CA, was a brilliant location for r&h. For the couple it was a destination (for me it was in my own backyard per se). The venue is gorgeous and fantastic for smaller events. With a fire pit, surrounded by vineyards, and a gorgeous barn built by the owner the whole place was magnificent.
I’m thrilled to share this amazing day. Heather & Ryan, I don’t lie, I really, really loved working with you two and capturing such amazing hand made details. It was so wonderful! Well done my friends, and congratulations! May your married life by full of bliss.

We were all nervous because of the heat… the valley has been sizzling since this past weekend. But on Monday evening, the sun backed off a tad, the wind picked up, and the warmth of the evening bathed this couple in gorgeous light! Percy and I had such a great time with Chad & Cori and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in September! There is so much goodness in this shoot I just had to share a few with you… selecting those were SO hard to do!

Jake & Lauren … I just don’t know what to say because you guys are so wonderful! I am truly thankful to have become friends with this dynamic, meat loving duo. Their wedding was fabulous. It was set in the foothills of Springville, CA at a ranch. They were wed under a six post barn and enjoyed dinner with dancing in an octagon shaped building. Around the fire pit people snacked on a meat tray, cheese, and fruit while the bbq cooked nice pieces of steak seared with a brand made from their initials. Not only did the steak have the brand but all of the guests received a metal ornament of the brand which was tied around their napkins. Every little detail was taken care of by Lauren and her bridesmaids. It was fantastic. Even the rope signs that Lauren made a few weeks before the big day were so cool! I just love this couple and think they’re ridiculously great.
Congratulations my friends! I can’t wait for you to have babies and name them something sweet like heifer and chick. Um, maybe that doesn’t work so well for babies?

Yesterday was wonderful. It was a wedding like none I have ever seen before and I doubt will ever see again. Tanner & Brandalynn made their wedding day one that was intimate, full of love, and even more so glorifying to the Lord. It was pretty cool!
