Lots has happened this year!  I started off Interning for Richard Pierce Photography in New York City (the absolute best thing I’ve probably ever done in my life), graduated from Brooks Institute of Photography, traveled back and forth from California to Louisiana, I do post production for other wedding photographers, shoot for a company called EveryScape, and in between those little things I put some more effort into my business of portraits, weddings, and stock photography.  Plus I started shooting a portfolio of my friends work (which, truth be told, is probably my favorite thing (photography wise) that I’ve done this year for myself).

This year I have shot more portraits than I could have imagined!  I did a handful of weddings (which are featured here) and I loved being apart of each one of these couples lives.  I hope to shoot more weddings as business starts picking up.  We’ll see where the Lord leads!

The Blied Sisters | Reedley, CA

December 27th, 2009

The project I’ve been hired for, capturing images of the Milton/Blied family has continued.  So far I have four of the seven children.  Here are the three sisters along with the two eldest husbands.  I do believe the series will look very nice in their parents hallway. 🙂

These brothers were great… complete opposites of one another.  The older one kept throwing out ninja moves and had ridiculous amounts of energy!  While the younger one tended to put his arms down by his sides and he would look straight down anytime I pointed a camera at him.  It took awhile but he got […]

Anthony’s Senior Pictures | Reedley, CA

December 22nd, 2009

On Saturday I got to shoot Anthony’s Senior Pics.  He’s graduating from Parlier High School this May.  Anthony was a great subject, he was kind, gentle, shy, and easy going.  We had a great time and I think the picture turned out fantastically!

Jazz the German Shepherd | Reedley, CA

December 19th, 2009

Growing up in a farm town I would run back and forth to my best friends house through the fruit trees. We had a blast as children and I’m thankful that she’s still apart of my life even now. Today I took pictures of my childhood bff’s retired German Shepherd. Jazz worked as a search […]

Today I took pictures of my childhood bff’s retired German Shepherd. Jazz worked as a search and rescue dog  so he was very well behaved. It was a fun shoot and we got some great shots of this huge dog!

The Todd Triplet Portraits | Santa Barbara, CA

December 17th, 2009

The triplets are simply put, cute.  The identical girls have this wonderful little voice.  Their brother is sweet and giggly, but he has a serious side.  Perhaps you can see their little personalities in this pictures… enjoy.

McCarter Family Portraits | Santa Barbara, CA

December 15th, 2009

I spent the last few days with my “family” in Santa Barbara.  I had such a great time with them.  Before they dropped me off at the Amtrak station we went down to the beach to build a snowman out of sand.  I grabbed my camera and shot some pictures.  I just love these guys […]

The Dias Family Portraits | Reedley, CA

December 7th, 2009

I got to take pictures of my cousin and her little family.  Their son is ridiculously cute.  We kept sending him back and forth with leaves in his hands so I can get some pictures of his sweet little face and large brown eyes.  What a sweet family and I’m looking forward to Christmas Eve […]
